My passion is to be part of the progressive change in the mindset of ideological communities in general, but particularly the Islamic community, and this defines the motif behind my thoughts and writings on this blog.
There is not a single religion out there that holds the key to The Truth and the Only Truth in a divine or metaphysical sense. The spiritual aspect of a person depends on psychological needs, which vary across individuals and cultures. Religion makes sense only if it is seen through secular lenses; otherwise, to dwell on it spiritually, adherents don’t need to make any sense out of it.
I love Islam because I grew up in it and thus have the most familiarity with it. Since Islam shares most of its roots with Judaism and a great amount with Christianity, that helps me to understand the vibes, mindsets, and convictions of all these religious communities. I mostly play the role of a contrarian and a critic in general to all prevailing and contemporary religious ideologies, but especially to the Muslim community, purely out of my love and care.
My thoughts are not original because I was born with a blank slate. All that I possess is the influence of the society around me and countless great thinkers before me. But I hold only what makes sense to me, and what I can defend with my thoughts.
I am hearing impaired, so I don’t hear what others do, but I do hear that others don’t, and some of it comes out in my writing. I believe that we all hear things in our silence, and those sounds are worth listening to and sharing with others, as those sounds possess the power to renovate our minds and souls.
